Description : Mandouki one of the most historic areas of the island is now a busy suburb of town. The expansion of the port together, creation of a boat yard and small boat shelter have made this area popular with local boat owners. The heavy ship and boat traffic, nearby fuel depo's and proximity to the main road deter many people from swimming in these waters.
