Getting There
From the centre follow the signs to Lefkimi, about half way look out for the to Issos beach. An easy 30 minute drive. Ask around if you have any difficulties the place is very well know.

The beach is a mixture of coarse sand and small pebble which doesn't have the luxurious feel of the other windsurfing spots but it also means that sand is not blown everywhere when the winds are strong. The bay forms a deep semicircle with the winds blowing directly onshore make it almost impossible to be blown away so no matter what you will be back on shore within a matter of minutes.
Winds enter the bay directly onshore and are typical for this part of the island being mostly light throughout the day and picking up later in the afternoon. The sea state is typically flat in the morning and will progressively become choppier in the afternoon but you need not worry about any significant wave.
Even when it does blow hard there are no waves as such that would interest advanced sailor, just a lot of confused chop which is ok for intermediates to practise their skills and still have the safety net of a very closed bay.
Safety. Exercise a little common sense and you should not have any worries in this bay.
